    Legal Force of International Criminal Law Norms

    Article analyzes the concept of the norm of international criminal law, its characteristics, structure. Particular attention is paid to characterizing the legal force of international criminal law. The issue of combating international crime is currently one of the most pressing and vital issues of modern international criminal law. As a branch of international law, international criminal law was formed in the second half of the twentieth century. Overtime has acquired a feature of a recurring character, manifested in the growing number of rules that carry out regulatory action in close connection with other countries' management of international law. The affiliation of a norm to its normative system gives it binding legal force. A significant increase in the number of law rules led to the formation of its own system of sources, which became a form of existence of the practice. Norms have become real, their content has been enriched, and the scope has expanded.
