dc.description.abstractIn Indian philosophy, we come across along standing burning controversy among the different philosophical schools regarding the supreme end of human life. All the philosophical schools excepting Cārvākaconsider Mokṣaas the ultimate or supreme end of human life but the Cārvāka School recognises Kāma or pleasure as the ultimate end of us. This paper will address this issue with utmost logical analysis and ultimately substantiate the Cārvākaview.en_US
